Last night, our junior high girls basketball team traveled to Akron-Fairgrove to take on the Vikings — and delivered their most well-rounded performance of the season, earning a 21–8 victory! The offense really started to click, and the defense was nothing short of incredible. Leading the scoring was Faith Szymanski with 12 points, followed by Julia Polega with 5 and Oaklee Miller with 4. Julia dominated the glass with an outstanding 20 rebounds, while Faith added 7 boards of her own. Olivia Wisneski turned in her best rebounding effort of the season with 6, Laela Bennett and Kambri Heintz each grabbed 3, and Emily Deacons and Oaklee added 2 apiece. The girls will now enjoy a well-earned break until after Thanksgiving. Once they return, they’ll be back in action at home on December 1, when we host Caseville. Great job, ladies — keep the momentum going!
