Thursday night the Lady Warriors opened up League play with a 31-26 victory over Akron-Fairgrove. It was an extremely well balanced attack in aspects of the game. Scoring for the Warriors were Emily Souva with 9, Jenna Schornack and Aspen Jimkoski each with 8, Jentry Zimmerman with 7, Kayle Talaski with 6, and Allison Souva with 3. Jentry led the rebounding with 11 followed by Emily Souva with 9. Aspen nabbed 8 steals while Emily rounded out a nice complete game with 7 of her own. Jenna also had 3 blocks in the contest.
