North Huron School District

On Monday night, the first round of Districts for the boys had the North Huron Warriors up against the Caseville Eagles. Both teams came out strong and matched each other almost shot for shot. At halftime the Warriors held a narrow lead, 36-34. In the 3rd quarter the Warriors unloaded, out scoring the Eagles 14-5, ending the third 50 to 39. The Warriors kept their momentum going, sealing the victory 59-47. Top scores were Luke Szymanski with 23 points and Griff Schipinski with 12. Round two of Districts will put the Warriors against the Deckerville Eagles at 7pm in Akron-Fairgrove.
