The Junior High Lady Warriors hosted the Caseville Eagles for their home opener Wednesday night. Both teams showed grit as they battled a fierce serving Eagles team. Stats for the Team 1 are as follows: Lauren Furne: 2 points, 3 aces Penny McLeod: 2 points, 1 ace Trinady Ferris: 1 point, 2 aces Eliana Campbell: 2 points, 2 aces Clara Vigenski: 1 ace Scores resulted in an Eagle win: 19-25, 17-25, 2-15. Team 2 had limited numbers but showed up to compete! Stats for Team 2 are as follows: Olivia Wisneski: 4 points, 5 aces Makinley Ewald: 2 points Deborah Crandall: 1 point Oaklee Miller: 3 points Final scores were 18-25, 17-25, and 3-15 giving the Eagles the win. The girls travel to Bay City Academy on Wednesday, September 16th.
