The junior high girls' basketball team continued their undefeated season this last week and now move to 6-0 on the year. Last week, the team played host to Caseville, where they came away with an impressive 28-15 victory. Fiona Phillips was red hot from the floor and connected on five jump shots for 10 points total. Faith Szymanski chipped in 8, Brynnleigh McGrath 6 and Madi Alexander had 4. Last evening, the Warriors hosted Akron Fairgrove and again took care of business. The girls jumped out to an early 8-1 first quarter lead and finished off the half up 20-3. The ladies settled into the offense in the second half and came away with a 28-13 victory. Madi Alexander led all scorers with 14 points, Faith Szymanski commanded the point and scored 8, while Allena Saenz had four and Julia Polega 2. Allena and Julia also rebounded the ball extremely well. The girls host Caseville next Monday for their third meeting and look to go 3-0 against the Eagles.
