Last week was a busy week for varsity Boys Basketball. They traveled to Mayville, Vassar and Akron. The first road game of the year was a rough one and the Warriors fell short, losing 72-37. Top scorers were Keegan Brown with 16 points. Luke Szymanski 7 points. Tom Knoblock added 6 points. The Warriors put up a battle with Vassar on Wednesday night, starting off slowly, but fighting back getting within 8 points but ended up dropping to Vassar 50-35. High scorers ere Griffen Schipinski with 12 points and Hunter Krull with 8. The Warriors returned to league play on Friday night, taking on Akron-Fairgrove. The Warriors came out strong and controlled the game from the start, defeating the Vikings 50-38. Top scorers were Logan Rodriguez and Hunter Krull with 12 points each. Kaleb Antoszewski and Griffen Schipinski both contributed 7 points. The Warriors reman on the road this week taking on the Caseville Eagles Friday night. JV Boys Basketball took on the Arkon-Fairgrove Viking Friday night. The Warriors played hard but ended falling to the Vikings 33-32. Keegan Brown was the top scorer with 25 points followed by Jason Jimpkoski with 4 points and Wesley Kosinski added 3 points.
