A little mid-week relay, for the win. NHXC competed at the Mayville Relays on Tuesday. Each runner ran half the race before handing off to their teammate. It was fun and different, with silliness encouraged (ahem, Wesley’s tutu 😂). In the HS girls race, Natalie and Fiona Phillips took home a medal for their dynamic duo efforts, placing 20th in 24:56 for the 5k. Kayle Talaski and Cambria Collings worked together to place 34th in 27:59. Macy Polega, partnering with a runner from Capac, placed 46th in 33:33. In the HS boys race, Wesley Kosinski and Ely Deacons cruised to a 24th place finish, running 20:30. In the JH races, Elsie Dhyse and Emily Deacons finished 32nd in 18:45 while Julia Polega and Owen Williams finished 32nd in 18:01.
