The Warriors Cross Country team competed at the North Park Invitational in Harbor Beach on Saturday. The girls team of Aspen Jimkoski, Kayle Talaski, Natalie Phillips, Fiona Phillips, and Macy Polega earned 4th place for their efforts. Aspen Jimkoski finished 10th in 22:50, eating a medal. Kayle Talaski set a huge PR of 24:15, earning 21st and a medal. The trio of Natalie Phillips, Fiona Phillips and Macy Polega all crossed the line is 31st, 32nd and 33rd respectively. Natalie finished I. 25:48, Fiona in 26:11 and Macy in 26:19. Wesley Kosinski ran his way to a medal, running 19:54, finishing 19th, earning a medal. In the middle school race, Jaxton Kosinski paces the team, running 15:26 for two miles, taking 21st place. Owen Williams was 29th in 17:29. Elsie Dhyse was 31st in 17:32. Julia Polega was 34th in 17:48. Emily Deacons was 39th in 21:55. Kambri Heintz was 42nd in 24:43. The Warriors next race is at Ubly on Wednesday, Oct 8.
